Attractive traditional hotel for 4 nights in Clamecy. Favourable and excellent location - in the center of the city. Walking distance to a supermarket and a convenience store across the street:)))

Comfort double room we stayed at was huge with large comfy bed. The service provided there was helpful. Got wake up calls free of charge, not bad too. The location was unbeatable and convenient, near marc de bourgogne or another eau de vie, the port area of the lovely Medieval town of Clamency with easy access to canal walks and the old town, and the train station...

We stayed here for a quick stopover on our way to another destination. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the historic part of Clamency with great restaurants. The hotel had lots of character, more than expected from a chain hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast selection was comprehensive and of good quality. There were free parking spaces available right outside the front door.
Would recommend this hotel.

During our Christmas holiday stay, we appreciated the cozy and comfortable atmosphere in the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and ready to help, offering us great restaurant recommendations nearby. We also enjoyed the ample parking available, which made our arrival and departure very smooth.
The room we were given had a poor sound insulation, so we could hear noise from outside and from adjacent rooms. Also, the breakfast area was a bit crowded, and the service was slow, as staff members were multitasking.

The rooms at Hostellerie De La Poste are cozy and comfortable, with a great sense of homeliness. They come with all the essentials, like a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Plus, the free WiFi and flat-screen TV make it easy to stay connected and entertained. As a solo traveler, I felt right at home in these rooms.
The only downside for me was the choice of bathtub or shower in the bathroom. Personally, I prefer a quick and refreshing shower, but I understand that others might appreciate a relaxing soak in the tub.

We stayed during Christmas and were happy to find the decoration matched the festive mood. the bed was comfortable and we received fresh towels and linens every day. the location is excellent with numerous attractions within walking distance.
Our experience was marred by numerous issues. the food wasn't good, with the starters and desserts being particularly disappointing.
